About Me
Traditionally tutored at Wimbledon Art School, I graduated in illustration and graphics, resulting in a Royal Society of Arts bursary to travel around Europe as an intern in publishing houses and advertising agencies.

Returning to the UK, I enjoyed a career in advertising until I changed direction to concentrate on painting, mostly in oils. My work is largely figurative, be it portrait, landscape or any other subject and I enjoy working directly from life or on location.

I take commissions as well as painting for my own pleasure and exhibit at exhibitions. While I prefer working from life, capturing the immediate presence and vitality of my subjects, I also create art from photographic references when necessary. This flexibility allows me to adapt to various artistic demands and inspirations.
Techniques & Mediums
My primary medium is oil paints, known for their vibrancy and depth. However, I also take pleasure in the simplicity and precision of pen and ink, as well as the subtlety of pencil sketching. My style is traditional and figurative, rooted in the techniques that have stood the test of time.
Studio in East Devon
My studio is located in the scenic region of East Devon. It is a fully equipped, private, and warm space, ideal for those who wish to experience being a subject in a professional artist’s studio
